REACHsub (free of charge)

• Substance database REACHsub is a compilation and reproduction from different lists of chemical substances with varying nomenclature from public sources, especially laws and regulations. dr-kappa® simply extracted and reproduced data from these sources. dr-kappa® neither validated correctness and completeness of substance lists in respective languages nor corrected different descriptions. The substance database contains no technical function for selection of correct and relevant substances or analysis of substance identity.
• Substance database REACHsub is addressed exclusively to chemists experienced in nomenclature and assists in identification of substances of his enterprise and similar substances. Selection and check of substances comes into sole responsibility of enterprise doing registration.
• At the moment the number of search results is limited to 49 hits and can be changed by dr-kappa® at any time without explanation.

REACHessentials (with charge)

• The platform REACHessentials for contact and communication enable enterprises to collect initial information as a basis for contacting other enterprises which are also users of REACHessentials.

• REACHessentials also enables the users to form SIEFs during the period of registration. At an early stage of REACH, REACHessentials offers overviews on studies of other users for cost assessments and enables preliminary discussions for forming consortia. By forming SIEFs (consortia) the platform serves as a communication forum.
• Proven payments enable usage of databases REACHsub and REACHessentials until the end of 2018.
• According to our estimation, the consortia will nominate panels of experts per SIEF and group of substances by "read-across" already in 2009, whose communication platforms will not facilitate working processes after 2012. Decisive progress is achieved by the inclusion of previously unknown test reports. These reports are entered early by companies which actually need not register them until 2018 due to low tonnage band. In this way you as a customer will not incure additional costs due to revision of the dossier.
• REACHessentials serves merely as a platform which enables customers to contact one another. For this purpose, dr-kappa® has designed REACHessentials where the customer can enter his test reports and also view those of others. With the help of REACHgroup, the customer is additionally able to view existing studies of his substance group(s).
• It is the customers decision as to which data he offers for others to view. Any communication between customers based on REACHessentials is not part of the offer on our website. dr-kappa® merely operates the platform and is involved in neither the communication nor the arrangements between customers (SIEF participants). It is for the customers to clarify any queries they have with one another; the following examples are some operating procedures / structures: Pre-registration, substance grouping, pre-SIEF, SIEF, consortia, cost sharing, registration. Any contact between customers is done directly by the respectice customers and not on behalf of dr-kappa®.
